Joined HMBC in December 2025. Sr Hanalie Roodt brings a calm, caring presence to our private maternity services. She has a deep love for walking alongside families through pregnancy, birth preparation and the precious early days with a new baby.
Hanalie supports mothers in creating an ideal, personalised birth plan and offers both individual and group birth preparation classes. She has a special heart for the vulnerable postnatal period, ensuring new parents feel supported, informed and confident as they adjust to life with their newborn.
Through home visits, Sr Hanalie provides hands-on guidance in the comfort of your own home, assisting with breastfeeding, baby’s first bath and early newborn care. She also facilitates baby support groups and classes, creating a safe and encouraging space for parents to connect and learn together.
